Five years ago when Keeshagaye Whitter was diagnosed with eczema, she tried everything to stop the irritation and ease her discomfort. When nothing adequately worked, she channeled her frustration into research and discovered that most of the products that claimed to contain pure shea butter, in fact only contained about five percent of the moisturizer. 

Keeshagaye spent years perfecting her formula and in 2020 she launched Emollient, a vitamin rich, organic, and toxin-free personal care line that’s good for the body and safe for the planet.

Shipping Policy

Note: Orders placed on a holiday or on a weekend will be processed and shipped on the next business day.

Unless noted otherwise at the time you place your order, we ship all items within 1 to 3 business days of receiving an order. You will receive notification of any delay or cancellation of your order. Taxes and fees on your order will be calculated during checkout. Some states charge tax on shipping and handling fees in addition to state and local taxes on purchased goods. If you are charged taxes, it will be reflected in your cart. Shipping options will be provided during checkout. Standard international rates for shipping apply. International orders will be sent via DHL.

Returns & exchanges

Returns are not offered, our exchange policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and send your item to: 66 Meserole Ave,#529, Brooklyn, NY, 11222, United States.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
