I’m a New York born, Caribbean bred, Ivy League educated lawyer turned entrepreneur who fell in love with shea butter and wanted to share that love with the world. Beurre was created as a natural solution to universal skincare needs. Through months of research, testing and failures, I found my passion in creating new formulations and products. A business was born. Family, friends and customers give Beurre rave reviews. Now with an expanding line of products, my dream of sharing shea butter with the world is coming true.
I’ve teamed up with international reggae artist Taj Weekes and his wife, Angela and parlayed their holistic lifestyle into creating simple, healthy skin care. Our vision is to build Beurre into an international brand, known for providing high quality, healthy, natural products to customers looking for healthy and natural solutions to skin care. With passion and vision firmly established, risks and hard work are just par for the course.

LipRevolt is a cosmetic brand specializing in lipstick that promotes social activism! If you've worn lipstick, you'd know that lipstick can make people feel powerful, confident, courageous, and empowered within moments of application. Through personal experiences, I found that there is power in lipstick, which is why I created LipRevolt with the hopes of using it to change the world. My lipstick is all about empowering people, inspiring people, and giving back to marginalized communities. My business is fueled by my life story, my passion, and my purpose, and of course, we are HellaBlack.

Medici Art Gallery is an East African art company based in Zanzibar, Tanzania. I (Baraka) and my cousin Ray who started this by owning paint shops in Stone town, Zanzibar. Apart from being family we all have one thing in common that we all are so fascinated by the idea of Painting thus we know much about the famous painters the world has ever had. But Something was not right about what we do we weren't selling history and most of our paints had blue eyes. And there is when we decided to show the world that if its anything beautiful then its gat to be black. That is why my people need to be told and shown positive vibes from a positive source.

My Emollient
Five years ago when Keeshagaye Whitter was diagnosed with eczema, she tried everything to stop the irritation and ease her discomfort. When nothing adequately worked, she channeled her frustration into research and discovered that most of the products that claimed to contain pure shea butter, in fact only contained about five percent of the moisturizer.
Keeshagaye spent years perfecting her formula and in 2020 she launched Emollient, a vitamin rich, organic, and toxin-free personal care line that’s good for the body and safe for the planet.
